It is too old now to impress today's gamers. Generally speaking - revieving a game li ke this is kind of pointless. But for the oldtimers (like me) it was a great nostalgia experience. The game adaptations of the original Date A Live light novel series were produced by Compile Heart and Sting Entertainment. In the light of today's games the product cannot offer much graphics or sound wise. This is surely not a game for kids despite its somewhat old and thus a still a bit unrealistic graphics. Phantasmagoria is one of the first true horror games to hit the market and looks much like a movie due to its filming in full motion video. And, to make matters worse, the house is haunted by images of Carno and the wives he so brutally murdered. He abuses his wife emotionally and, later on, physically. However, after Don goes to work changing the upstairs bathroom into a darkroom and falls off the ladder, his personality changes from loving to hateful, spiteful and murderous. But, the Delaney's are sure they can cleanse the house with their love. The house has a bad reputation as did Carno himself who, as some say, buried five wives before he died. She and her husband Don Delaney move into Carno, an old magician's house in New England.
